Windowsill Succulents

With the first frost, our collection of potted succulents must be brought in from the cold. After spending summer out in the alpine garden, they are brought indoors to the living room window.Unlike the other fall chores, this one is easy: just gather up the pots and set them on the windowsill shelf. Unlike the other fall chores, this one is easy: just gather up the pots and set them on the windowsill shelf. And when it comes to houseplants, succulents are among the most easy to care for. Even inexperienced gardeners can grow them successfully. Our collection brightens winter days with its interesting forms and textures. Once-a-week watering is usually sufficient.

    My Christmas cactus is blooming beautifully today! The palm tree starters would do better if the cats would stop eating them.

  8. Succulents make a great gift for newbie gardeners because of the low maintenance that they require. Water once a week and your good to go. Thanks for sharing.
